Hexing Hallucinogens ❍ Three more wreath pieces for @stylusseattle for @belltownartwalk this Friday the 13th curated by @ghostgallery. Datura Salvia Heimia Salicifolia It was so interesting tuning into the plant medicine energy while drawing these pieces. Especially how certain people’s experiences with them result in seeing the same entities and visualizations and how some induce dreamwork states. One of the last pieces for my show The Great Return: (to source) ⥀ on December 5th at Mortlake and Company, in Seattle Washington ⌓ Something I do with each series is incorporate a few pieces that will lead into my next series (this is one of those). My next series following this exhibition will focus on time and space. With a modernist eye. Non linearity. No past, no present no future. Just floating pieces of memories, experiences and how they tie into us, braid into us and how we can undo them. Untangling the web and energetically flowing however the f we want.
